Dinger's Story

Dinger is just the sweetest girl but she's had a bit of a bad luck streak. She originally came in bonded and housed with a male pionus. In 2023, that pionus decided that he no longer wanted to be caged with her and rudely kicked her out. Despite being shunned to her own space, she kept trying to go back to him. It was just like a soap opera. Poor girl couldn't take a hint. We would love for Dinger to find a home with or without other birds her size. She doesn't really know how to stand up for herself, so the other birds in the home would need to play nice with her. Dinger knows how to step up onto a hand or towel, and is a good eater.
