Clove is a 10 yr old male green cheek conure who came to Heart and Soul when his owners life situation<br/>changed to the point where he couldnt provide proper care any longer. Hes about 10 years old.<br/>Clove loves out of cage time and is gaining a lot of confidence with his foster mom. In a short<br/>time, Clove has learned clicker training, how to & spin and come for treats! Regular mental<br/>stimulation helps keep his mild noise level in check- the funny thing at least is when he is calling<br/>out asking for something, he tends to hang upside down and do so. When not outside the cage, Clove loves shredding toys, and these keep him very busy as well.He is an observant bird and will hang out on your arm or shoulder while you go about your day<br/>and not get in the way. He even sits quietly and patiently while his foster mom practices her<br/>opera singing. Clove cuddles up to you neck and will nap there for a long time. We are working<br/>on food/cage aggression through clicker training. He's also gaining strength to be able to fly<br/>long distances on command! We think he would do well alone with ample attention or with<br/>another bird. Right now his cage is next to his foster moms conure, and they have a fun time<br/>talking to each other.
