Chocobo's Story

Meet Chocobo (or as we've been affectionately calling him, Choke)! Choke is a young male golden pheasant looking for a home after being found as a stray and rescued by some kind patient humans.

Choke is looking for a home where he'll be kept as a companion and receive compassionate veterinary care. His new living space must be fully predator-proofed with a secure coop where he will be safe at night. While he hasn't been tested with other animals at the sanctuary, we think he'd love to have some pheasant friends in his new home.

Choke is currently located at our sanctuary in Fall City, WA. Transport can be arranged up to 500 miles from the Seattle area for the right home. Rooster Haus Rescue recommends a strict 30-day quarantine protocol before introducing new animals to any existing flock. Good news: Choke already completed his 30-day quarantine on 8/20!

If you're interested in adopting or learning more about Choke, fill out our adoption application here: https://form.jotform.com/210664404054144
