Can-Can's Story

Can-can‘s parents tried their very best, but it can be challenging as an urban bird trying to find enough nutritious food to raise babies. Without the proper nutrition for growth in the earliest days, one of Can-Can‘s legs grew curved out to the side. But when he was rescued, this happy baby amazed us all with his bright and cheerful attitude to life! As he hops around on his one straight leg, unbothered by his curved left leg, he looks perpetually like he is doing a can-can dance step, hence her name! He loves hanging out with his people friends on the couch in his foster home, and has a perpetually joyous approach to life. He says Can-Can CAN! He wants nothing more than to be loved and pampered in her forever home!
