Brittnee

Forced to find his way home from several states away, Brittnee the pigeon racing survivor ended up in someone's backyard, confused and hungry. Luckily, he was noticed right away by the kind people living there and was saved. He was hungry and injured, but thanks to the rescuers, he made his way to us and has now recovered!<br/>Unfortunately, his right eye couldn't be saved, but partial blindness doesn't hold him back at all! He was named in loving memory after the rescuers' niece: Brittnee. Although he turned out to be a male pigeon, we decided to keep the name to honor Brittnee, who always had a smile on her face and perhaps helped guide this pigeon to safety with her family.<br/>Brittnee is a polite boy whose personality is starting to shine through. He absolutely loves baths! Brittnee is awaiting a gentle and patient foster or forever home who will encourage him as he flourishes in his new life!
