Bree's Story

Bree is a 33-yr. old yellow-naped amazon (presumed male). He spent his first 25 years with the male owner who hand-raised him. He spent his last 8 years in a home where he was aggressive to everyone including the pets. In his foster home, he has not been aggressive to anyone, although he is cage-protective. He seems content to be in or atop his cage, chewing wooden blocks and cardboard boxes. He will climb down to explore and play with the dog's toys. He is now taking food from my hand. Bree will need an appropriate-sized cage and a caretaker with amazon experience. Vet check normal, except for the beginning of cataracts in both eyes. Comes with carrier and toys.

Adoption fee $400 + $30 membership. Must be within driving distance of Salt Lake City.
