BIRD PITT's Story

Mr. Bird Pitt is a beautiful, iridescent rooster. He is a big boy with a stranger-danger temperament. He gets quite nervous when his crate is refreshed. He won't come to the front of his crate when meal worms are put in his food dish and would rather stay perched on his box until volunteers give him space. Bird, however, has never been aggressive towards people...he tries so hard! He does like the company of his neighbor rooster in the adjacent crate so he seems to like the company of other chickens instead of people. Bird would like a place where he can spread his wings. If you are interested in Bird Pitt, please ask about this big boy at the shelter's adoption desk.
