Bianca

Bianca, AKA "Bonca" is a 17 year old female umbrella cockatoo. She came to us because her previous owner was having difficulty dealing with her noise. She did well in her foster home and was adopted, but sadly she started showing aggression to one of the children. She was placed in a foster home where she had done well with both adults, but she doesn't seem to like the 18 year old son. The foster family does have to provider her with firm boundaries, and she responds well to this. She is friendly and screaming has not been a problem. She does have some chronic kidney disease. She is not on medication, but attention to her diet is recommended. She will do best in a home experienced with large birds. Diet: Pellets, fruits & veggies, nuts or seeds as treats.
