Benny's Story

Hi! I'm Benny!

I'm a 6 year old Green Cheek Conure with a top-tier personality and a heart full of love! I'm friendly, curious and ready to make new friends. My ideal day is hanging out with my favorite human, playing with fun toys, and showing off how charming I am. At 6 years old, I'm seasoned in being a fantastic companion, and I can't wait to be part of the daily routine. If you're looking for a sweet feathered buddy, I'm your guy!

PEARL is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit located in Pittsburgh, PA. PEARL adopts within 100 miles of Pittsburgh. PEARL Parrot Rescue's Adoption Policy
Thank you for considering adopting your new feathered companion through PEARL Parrot Rescue. It is estimated that approximately 85% of birds purchased are rehomed or abandoned within the first two years of ownership. By considering adoption you are helping put an end to this crisis affecting companion parrots in the United States. In order to adopt from PEARL, all potential adopters must complete our three step adoption process. This includes an application, participation in our Standards of Care Class, and consent to a home check. Regardless of whether you have had or currently have birds, classes are required. We want to ensure that all our potential adopters are equipped with the knowledge to properly care for a parrot. During these classes we discuss our expectations on caging, diet, enrichment, training, and so much more.
