Zack's Story

Zack came to our rescue after showing up at a local horse stable. Behind the horse stable is a frequent spot for dumped animals, we assume that is what happened to Zack. He is friendly and sweet, but likely was dumped out for his out of control hormones.

While we do not know his history, we guesstimate him at 6 months old, and while he does look to be on the smaller side now, it is important for adopters to know that pigs may not be done growing until they reach five years old. Even when fed a proper diet they can still grow quite large and reach 250+ pounds. We feel like he will like be more around the 100-150 pound range but that is never guaranteed and should not be a deal breaker for someone considering getting a pig.

He has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped and once his hormones have fully worked out of his system, he will be the sweetest boy ever for a very lucky family. It would be lovely if Zack could go to a home with another pig, but will consider him being the only pig in a home to the right family. This guy needs a lot of attention and affection.
