Wilbur's Story
This little snuggler lives up to his name "Wilbur" and is truly a special pig. He is estimated to be about 6 months old. He is friendly with cats and dogs and likes to run, play, and forage in the backyard.

We are unsure of his breed/mix. We think he may stay under the 200lb mark needed to stay in Omaha city limits (or within 3 miles) but we don’t know for sure. This means we will likely be seeking a home for him outside of city limits. He MUST be an indoor pet.

Wilbur is accustomed to wearing a harnass and going for walks, as well as sleeping with people. He is a good pig and is trained to be in a kennel when no one is home. He is also trained to potty outside, and will go out with our dog. In true mini pig fashion he does not like the cold however, so we are working on litterbox training him to provide other potty time options.

Wilbur will need a home with a fenced backyard, and lots of love being an indoor pig. He loves being around people and is very social. His forever home will need to be zoned for mini pigs , as not all areas in town allow them. Wilbur's adoption fee is $350, and includes his neuter and microchipping, which is required by the city of Omaha.

Apply to adopt Wilbur here:

https://www.hopsandco.org/adopt
