Toro's Story

Meet Toro (aka Tuna)! He is an adorable Potbelly Pig. Toro is around 7 years old and is neutered. He previously lived indoors with dogs and cats, but he is loving the outside life! This sun-worshipping, breakfast-loving sweetheart is looking for his forever home, and ideally, a piggy bestie to share it with.

Toro spends his days soaking up sunbeams like it's his full-time job, savoring every bite of his morning piggy breakfast, and melting into a happy puddle for bum scratches (his love language, no question). He's done great with goat and horse pals. He's hoping to find a piggy companion to nap with and split snacks with, because the best things in life are better shared.

Pigs living requirements include a sheltered area with a roof and three walls, as well as an escape proof enclosure. Each of our pigs receive vaccinations, a microchip, and are spayed/neutered before adoption.

Are you interested in adopting Toro? Fill out our application today! He is currently located at a foster's home in Kamas UT. If you have questions please feel free to reach out!

Adoption application: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=as2888&method=online_form_html&formid=21

Our Mission
We rescue abandoned, unwanted, neglected and “last chance” domestic animals in Utah. We care for and find forever homes for these animals. Our goal is to offer public education so that we can change the way animals are seen, treated and cared for and offer them a safe haven when they have none.
