LOCATED IN OHIO Step 1  Review our adoption process and FAQs. This can often answer your questions and speed up your adoption process. Step 2  Submit an adoption survey. This tells us about your experience, what you are looking for and what you might need in order to make your adoption a success. We can help! Step 3  Talk to us. Our placement coordinator will lend an ear to help match you with your right animal and set up a time to visit the sanctuary. Photos requested are in the spirit of assisting an adopter to provide the best chance for a worry-free adoption. This is not a pass or fail, but rather a partnership for success! Step 4  Choose your companion. By appointment, our staff will help you select an animal suited to your wants, needs and facility. Step 5  Complete the adoption!  Arrangements will be made for you to take your adopted animal home. Fall in love - Fill out the contract and pay the fee - Begin your next chapter!
