Pygmy Goats's Story

In May 2025, Sanctuary One answered an urgent call from the Department of Agriculture. Over 300 animals were being seized from the West Coast Game Park Safari in Bandon, Oregon, due to neglect and criminal activity.

We stepped up to provide a safe haven for 46 goats. Our team worked around the clock to build pens and shelters, then transported the goats from the fairgrounds to Sanctuary One—where they could finally experience care, safety, and compassion.

23 goats have since been transferred to a sanctuary in California, and the remaining goats are now ready to find their forever loving homes! These sweet Pygmy goats are on the smaller side and full of personality. 💚

If you can find it in your heart to welcome a few of these amazing goats into your home, please fill out an adoption application on our website:

www.sanctuaryone.org
or email colleen@sanctuaryone.org for more details
