Meet Bunny!<br/><br/>Bunny is a beautiful 6-year-old Nubian cross doe with a big personality and an even bigger appetite! When Bunny arrived at Sanctuary One, she was very underweight and pregnant with twins. With time, care, and patience, she has worked hard to regain her health and learn that she is safe and cared for.<br/><br/>Bunny is a confident girl who likes to know what's going on and isn't afraid to share her opinions. She has a strong personality and naturally takes on a leadership role within her herd. She enjoys the company of other goats and sheep, but she does appreciate having enough space to call her own and will do best with companions who respect her boundaries.<br/><br/>While Bunny may not be the first goat to run up asking for attention, she has a sweet side that comes out with trust and patience. She is still learning that people can be a source of good things, and the way to her heart is definitely through her stomach! Bunny is highly food motivated and loves just about every fruit and vegetable she can get her hooves on.<br/><br/>Bunny is comfortable being led on a halter and enjoys scratches and brushing when she is haltered. Off lead, she can still be a little unsure and may shy away from hands-on attention. Her adopter will need to be someone willing to take the time to build a relationship with her and earn her trust. The reward will be a goat who knows you chose to understand her.<br/><br/>Bunny is looking for a home with:<br/> - A secure fenced area designed for goats<br/> - A covered, enclosed shelter to protect her from weather and predators<br/> - At least one other compatible companion animal<br/> - Someone with patience who understands that trust takes time.<br/><br/>Bunny is a resilient girl who has overcome a lot.
