Princess Poppy Hamster Hamster Corona, CA

Hello everyone, we would like to introduce you to princess Poppy. She is now around 8 weeks old! Syrian hamster sisters, Nugget (Adopted), Baby, Poppy and Popcorn we rescued from @smalls_of_east_valley_ (a high kill shelter in LA County) They were rescued in October 2023, where they were told to have been 4 weeks old. Due to their smaller size upon intake we guessed they were actually younger than 4 weeks and/or had not been fed a proper diet/ removed from Mama too soon. Sadly they were transferred with a 5th baby hamster sibling that did not make it through the night at PNC.
After Alittle time at PNC the babies went to an experienced hamster family (Toni and the fam) in Riverside to foster them until they find their forever homes. The quad included one black hamster with white belly (Poppy) and a trio of tan/cream color (Nugget/Baby/Popcorn). All sisters have been doted on daily with snuggles, hand holding, treat feeding and exploring in a large enclosure filled with a 12 ich exercise wheel, sprays, tunnels, platforms and more enrichment! They all eagerly greet you in the morning and love social interaction before bedtime as well. These Syrian hamster sisters are now old enough to be adopted by a loving families! They’ve been hand held daily, are easy to pick up and easy to handle. They love to explore, climb, roll in sand, dig in coco soil, run on the wheel and be hand fed treats. If you hold them without treats, ensure you have clean hands or they may check for a treat with a lick or nibble!
