Meet Muffin
Hi, my name is Muffin! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:
-Personality: Curious
-Can live with kids: Yes although they cannot be my primary caretaker.
-Experienced hamster home: Muffin is undersocialized and would benefit from an experienced adopter, though this is not mandatory. If this is your first hamster we recommend doing plenty of research before adopting.
-Can live with other hamsters?: No - Dwarf hamsters should be housed separately.
-Bite History: No but I will lightly nip whatever is stuck in front of my face!
-Additional information: Muffin is an active little boy who loves to run around and explore in his hamster ball. He doesn't like it when people stick their hand directly into his cage, and can be a little nippy. He would love a family that can take him out of his cage daily for exercise and love! He will need a clean roomy cage with lots of fun toys and enrichment! Muffin is reportedly environmentally sensitive and would do best in a quiet environment where he feels safe to come out and explore. Ideal enclosures aim for a minimum of 24 inches by 12 inches, and at least 12 inches tall, with several inches of bedding for burrowing - a VITAL activity for hamsters. If kept in an aquarium style enclosure, 40 gal minimum is ideal. Bigger is always better! If you'd like to find out more about Muffin, please fill out an application!
