Meet Marimba
Estimated birth date: 7/19/2019
Personality: Very shy (you are unable to touch this animal without it running away or being fearful, etc), Inquisitive, Cuddly, Nervous, Mouthy (puts mouth on you but does not bite down, usually thinking your fingers are food), Sweet
Favorite treats: Still working on finding her favorites
Favorite toys and activities: Marimba loves sleeping in the hammock while cuddling with her sisters! She also enjoys eating yummy treats.
Potty trained: Haven’t tried
This animal daily routine: Marimba looks forward to treats every evening after dinner-time.
BFF: Harmonica, Marimba, Cello, & Venova may be adopted out in groups of two or as a group of four.
Other species this pet has been exposed to and reaction: She has been exposed to degus and isn’t quite sure what to think about them.
Health concerns: None
Behavioral concerns: Harmonica, Marimba, Cello, and Venova are in our trust training program due to some non-aggressive biting.
Other notes: Marimba is cuddly and sweet with her sisters and still getting used to her human foster family and can sometimes be a bit mouthy. She's a little shy, and still getting used to the idea of being picked up. She is also fairly laid-back compared to Harmonica and Cello.
Marimba, Cello, Harmonica, and Venova found their way to MNPPR because they were a part of an unwanted litter.
Due to our rescue being foster based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. Marimba’s foster parent prefers to meet at the Roseville PetSmart - 2480 Fairview Ave N, Roseville, MN 55113 for meet & greets, & adoptions.
Our adoption process and fees can be found on our website here: https://www.mnpocketpetrescue.org/process
Fee: Marimba, Cello, Harmonica, and Venova's adoption fee is $25 if adopted in pairs $45 if adopted as a quartet
We absolutely DO NOT SHIP ANIMALS! Please do not ask.
All rats within MNPPR have tested negative for the Seoul virus before being placed up for adoption.
