Mama Suga, Kali Uchis and SZA Guinea Pig Guinea Pig & Rex Mix Irvine, CA

Mama Suga was rescued together off of a Craigslist ad where she was sold as a male at a pet store with 2 more boys, and gave birth! She was surrendered to us pregnant again from the boys she was with, and gave birth Sept 1 to 1 healthy boy and 2 girls! She is available for adoption hold with her 2 new daughters, and can go home Oct 1.

Suga is a sweet girl as her name implies, and has been doing such a great job of teaching her children that humans are kind! She happily takes treats and fresh veggies from her foster’s hands, and is warming up to being touched. She is a very brave girl during nail trimmings and health checkups. Suga would do wonderfully in an experienced or beginner home, and her gentle temperament gives us confidence she should be safe with patient children.

Her babies will be raised with a foster that will be handling them from day one, so they will be socialized. Please keep in mind even animals raised with people can be shy! Guinea pigs have very diverse personalities and each piggie is very different.

So far, Suga’s daughters have been very active and healthy! They follow their Mama closely, but are starting to nibble on their hay and explore their home. They have been easy to handle according to their foster, but the darker girl is quite the energetic bundle! They will be available to go home Oct 1 if all continues to go well.
