Meet Isabelle & Ellie

Isabelle is estimated to be about a 6 month old, female gerbil. She was surrendered to the rescue along with another gerbil who turned out to be a male and was separated immediately. Isabelle gave birth to 3 pups at the rescue, one of which is Ellie who she is now paired with. Ellie's date of birth is Jan 9th 2021. Ellie is a shy but gentle young gerbil and Isabelle is rather curious, friendly and hand tame but won't sit still for long. Ellie is sweet, fast and enjoyable to watch. They love making burrows together. They're both easy going and later on may be hard to tell apart due to having the same coat coloration.

* Please be advised: Due to unknown genetics of both parents originally bought from a petstore, accidental litter animals like hamsters/gerbils/mice we take in, may end up passing before a year old due to complications from genetics. Not all will experience this.
