Meet Coco
Coco is a female gerbil looking for her forever family. She was surrendered with her sister but the two unfortunately are not able to live together because they are both very assertive. After attempting introductions with another gerbil, Coco told us that she would prefer living as a solo gerbil. Coco loves her people, and would make a wonderful companion to a person who's looking to spoil her!
We follow the habitat guidelines from BCSPCA which currently recommends a minimum cage size of 10 gallon per gerbil, plus topper. The bigger, the better.
Additionally, we require a wheel that is at least 10 inches, as gerbils' backs must be straight when running.
Please be prepared to provide photos of your habitat and habitat accessories.
Given that anesthesia is risky for small mammals, gerbils will be left intact. However, breeding is absolutely not permitted and you will be required to enter into a no-breeding agreement.
