Meet Geo

Hi, my name is GEO! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:
-Personality: Curious, active, quiet
-Can live with kids: Yes, Geo can go into a home with reptile-savvy children. However, an adult must be his primary caregiver - bearded dragon care is too complex for young children and inadequate habitat maintenance can result in death of the animal.
-Experienced beardie home: Exotic small animal experience preferred. Geo's adopters will need to do research on bearded dragon care prior to adoption and be able to demonstrate knowledge to their adoption counselor.
-Additional information: Bearded dragons need a balanced diet that consists of live food such as gut-loaded crickets and mealworms (Geo eats dubia roaches!), a bearded dragon-specific pellet diet, and leafy greens such as kale, parsley, and collared greens (making up 20-50% of their diet). If your dragon won't eat a commercial pellet diet, you will need to use a species-appropriate vitamin supplement to make sure they are receiving complete nutrition. Geo will need a species-appropriate enclosure with heat and UVA/UVB lighting elements to keep his environment within appropriate temperature specifications. GEO FACT: Geo is a good eater and his previous owner reports that he "likes to be called Spiky Boy."
