Bunanessa Rabbit Bunny Rabbit Mix Corona, CA

Hello everyone! We would like to introduce you to this beautiful bun, whom we have named Bunessa (after her original rescuer Vanessa). Vanessa and her previous companion Lennon were found roaming a neighborhood in Lakewood CA, on 5/18/23. They were most likely dumped by their previous person/family. This is an extremely common thing people do when they no longer want their rabbits or pets. It’s absolutely heartbreaking! But Thankfully these buns hit the Jack pot and an amazing person/Good Samaritan stopped and saved them! We are not 100% sure their story before they were saved but what we do know is their original rescuer did such a great job with them! She fostered them for months and months. She got the girls vetted, spayed (fixed) and vaccinated. She loved and spoiled them. Unfortunately she was having a hard time finding them placement and due to a move she felt it was best to give them to a rescue who could help find them a home! The girls were given to us on 2/4/24 so the girls spelt almost 9 months in her care without finding a home. Unfortunately last month Lennon, her companion unexpectedly passed away. This really affected Bunessa, we knew we had to act fast to find her a new best bin again. Not long after Lennon passing we got into contact with Kribs for Kritters Rabbit Rescue (bunny bonding experts) and they were able to find her a new companion. Within 4 mins of meeting Bunessa & Bunnito (previously known as Puffin) were cuddling and in love. A match made in heaven by Lennon herself! Bunessa is a very sweet girl who has always been on the more shy side. But she quickly warms up for love and pets if her fav treats are involved (bell peppers). She isn’t a huge fan of being picked up (most rabbits don’t). She’s still opening up, but after meeting Bunnito she has been more outgoing and wanting to interact more with their foster mom! Bunnito is an extremely loving and outgoing bun so he’s been so helpful to her! Bunessa is extremely bonded to her husbun Bunnito so they MUST be adopted together! These adorable buns are currently in a foster home waiting for their forever home!

The buns are already both fixed and vaccinated. They will also be microchipped before they go to their forever home!

Adoption fee for Bunessa and Bunnito is $200, they will also go home with some goodies!
