Meet Phoenix

Phoenix is a gentle, sweet and friendly rabbit. He is approximately two and a half years old. He was adopted from us several months ago but was just returned because his family no longer had time to care for him. He lived with young children and was very good with them. He loves his salads and comes running when he knows it is mealtime. Some of his favorite foods are bananas, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, cilantro, lettuce, green beans, dill, kale, craisins, and carrot shreds. He would thrive in a home where he has plenty of space to stretch his legs and hop around. He is used to having a very spacious cage and lots of out-of-cage time to jump, explore and play with his toys. He is neutered and litterbox trained.

Rabbits are active, gentle pets that are happiest and healthiest when they have a large clean cage, lots of playtime out of their cage, and plenty of fresh hay and veggies daily. All of the Medfield Shelter's bunnies are indoor pets and would not do well outside in a hutch.
