Lady Rowan Rabbit Mini Rex Baton Rouge, LA

Lady Rowan was transferred to MHRR in April 2023 from the LA SPCA. She arrived there after being attacked by a dog.She is curious but sometimes nervous around busy or loud noises or children, but comes running for food & treats! Lady also LOVES to play & dance when she is happy. She does pretty well with the litter box. Her favorite greens/veggies is cilantro, and her favorite toys are pretty much anything made with sea grass. Lady likes to sleep in her hidey hut. Currently she wears a 'hock sock' bootie & is housed with some cushioned flooring in addition to her low-entry litterbox to help make sure her remaining back foot stays healthy (manage/prevent sore hocks) and for good traction (to prevent sprain & delay arthritis). We estimate her to be somewhere between 2-5 years old. While Lady suffered a badly broken leg that had to be amputated, she gets around pretty well as a tri-pawd! She battled some liver issues as well but they have completely resolved as of February 2024.
