Meet Kara & Kelsey (bonded pair)
Kara and Kelsey are a young (we believe 5 months old as of October 2023) bonded pair of sister bunnies. They are best friends and are always together.
They were purchased from a store selling young rabbits and wound up in a shelter only one week later. They have never known a loving, caring, stable home life. Despite this, they have very curious, playful personalities and are very intelligent and interactive! Both bunnies love gentle cuddles and petting. Their personalities are perky and very sweet.
These two little sisters are likely a mixed breed, possibly involving English spot. They are about 4 lbs each and are likely their full sizes already.
Both bunnies are litter trained and affectionate. They have been assessed to be in good health and have been spayed / neutered and vaccinated against RHDV2 (rabbit hemorrhagic disease).
If you are interested in meeting and potentially adopting these babies, please fill out the adoption application on our website at: www.huntsvillehouserabbits.com/adopt
Bonded bunnies must be adopted together and must stay together. The adoption fee for a bonded pair is $150 and includes veterinary spay/neuter, vaccination, and exam cost.
Rabbits can live 10-12 years with good care. They thrive best in a loving indoor home where they can be part of the family and safe from extreme weather, pests, and predators.
