Johnny Appleseed Rabbit Bunny Rabbit Mix Corona, CA

Hello everyone, we would like to introduce you to this handsome baby bun whom we have named Johnny! This silly boy was originally brought in as a stray to EVAS on 11/18/23. Then we rescued him on 12/21/23. The shelter he was rescued from is a high kill shelter in LA County. Thank goodness we were able to rescue him right before Christmas! Unfortunately the shelter does not require much info for you to surrender pets, so we don’t know much about him. Other than he is a young rabbit around 11 months, he is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. He also has a huge personality! He loves to explore and spend most of his days doing Binkies and bouncing around his enclosure like a bouncy ball! He is super into enrichment toys for rabbits, dogs and cats! He also loves to snuggle on the couch once his daily adventures are over! A behavior we do want to mention is that Johnny Appleseed can be territorial of his enclosure, we believe this is due to his past trauma along with living in the shelter. Since his arrival his territorial issues have been improving. He hasn’t been in our care long and has been through so much. We will continue to work with him and he will hopefully learn very soon that we are a safe loving place where he can be comfortable and doesn’t need to be protective of his space! He’s perfectly fine outside of his enclosure once out of it, so we believe with some extra love and patience this behavior will improve fully! He is also litter box trained! He's an extremely well behaved and snuggle bun outside of his enclosure. We rescued another rabbit from the same shelter who we have named Delilah. After a few play dates Johnny and Delilah and now in love! They are a bonded pair and must be adopted together!

Adoption fee for Johnny and Delilah is $200
(They will also go home with some goodies)
