Jersey Rabbit Dutch Mix Coralville, IA

Jersey is one of the best bunnies there is, but she has had a string of bad luck. This 5 year old Dutch mix was originally caught as a stray in the middle of winter, and has been adopted out 3 times and returned once more. None of this has been her fault, but is rather due to life changes for the owners. She is very ready for a permanent family, so read on to see if she is a good fit for you!

As most bunnies do, she will start off as a little shy, but behind that shyness is a sweet and sassy bunny just waiting the shine! Once she's had a chance to settle in, she loves being pet and will squish into a happy bunny loaf to have her head scratched. She is generally pretty tolerant of being handled, even for grooming and nail trims, though she would prefer being on the ground as much as possible.

Some of her favorite things include toys she can toss, as well as yummy toys she can munch on. She loves food and will race around honking when she knows she's going to get a treat. Speaking of treats, she knows that word and will come running if she hears it!

Jersey has great litter habits, with rarely any accidents. Because of all her moving around, Jersey has become a little defensive of her space, growling if you reach for her things in front of her in her pen. Because of this we recommend only respectful older children in the home. We don't know how she would do with other pets in the home.
