Meet Inkwell

John Wayne once said: "Courage is being scared to death, but saddling up anyway." More about that later...

A man lived in a town near me. He was cruel and heartless and when he moved, he turned all his rabbits loose.

One got hit by a car, one was taken by a hawk, and three were killed by a dog but we managed to catch the remaining four before they, too, met their demise.

Inkwell (aka Inky Binky) is about 10 months old. He’s sweet and all that is behind him. Now he just waits for his special, forever home!

He has special needs, which are a quiet home where he will have time to learn to trust you. When we first caught him, it took him a few weeks to get to trust me.
The first few days here, he hid. A few days later, he'd pop his head out of his hidey to take treats. Then he started letting me pet him....and now he's my boy! When it's just him and his family, he's politely shy but likes to be around you and watch what you're doing.

Now let's get back to what John Wayne said. Sometimes Inky Binky is afraid, but he keeps saddling up and each day he is less afraid and a little bit braver! And once you get his trust, you have a friend forever!

I call him “My Boy”…
And who doesn’t love a good underdog story? ??
I’ve become so fond of him. From semi-feral and afraid of just about everything to a bunny that is enjoying life and full of hope for even more good things to come! ??
If you’re looking for a sweet and polite boy, I’d love to tell you all about him!
Then maybe, just maybe, you’ll say: “I going to fill out that application for him!”

Ink has been sponsored and his adoption fee has been paid, so there is no fee to adopter, but you still must go through our application process.
Inkwell is neutered and vaxxed, and a playpen, litter box, bowls, hay, and pellets go with him to his new home!
