Maisie Rabbit Holland Lop Albuquerque, NM

Maisie is an adorable black and white lop who could quite possibly be the most affectionate rabbit in the world. She gets a little nervous around strangers but once she warms up, she’s anything but shy. She loves to sit right next to you on the floor while she gets a bunny massage, and she always shows her thanks with lots of kisses!

Maisie is about 6 years old and enjoys lounging around more than running and jumping, but she still participates in the occasional zoomie/binky combo. She currently free-roams the kitchen and dining room in her foster home but does not like to walk on hard floors without some kind of covering on the floor like a rug, blanket, or towel. She loves to follow her foster parents around all day and enjoys their company, even if she’s just laying down in the same room with them.

She does require a strict diet due to her history with being overweight and her sensitive stomach. She also has a hard time keeping her bottom clean of cecotropes and takes daily metacam to help with her mobility. Despite this, she is always in good spirits and will throw stacking cups around when she is excited.

One thing to know about Maisie is she loves a good bed. Throughout the day she likes to move from one bed to another, flopping on each one. Her favorite thing to lay on right now is a corrugated cardboard cat house. She has excellent litter box habits and crunchy hay is her favorite to munch on. Maisie is such a lover and would be an excellent candidate to bond with another bunny.
