Cinnamon Rabbit American Lee's Summit, MO

Cinnamon is a nearly 3 year old neutered boy who is looking for a forever home. His birthday is Feb. 14, 2020.  He is a big eater and loves his veggies (Bok Choy, Kale, Red leaf lettuce, cilantro) and hay. He likes fruit cut in smaller pieces, and will eat banana, apples (red or sweet apples, no green), and strawberries.  If you are snacking on fruit, he will *insist* on joining you in munching. Cinnamon doesn't do well on hardwood floors.  His original human was trying to bond him with another bunny, but they were sort of forcing him to accept another bunny and it wasn't working.  We think he might like a girlfriend, but one that he likes and who likes him.  He is good with cats and small dogs with no prey drive.  He is pretty shy with humans initially but will warm up after he realizes he can trust you.  The best way to get to know him is to sit on the floor with him and totally ignore him which will allow him to explore you *on his terms*.  Once he feels safe, he will come to groom you.  He isn't a lap bunny (most are not--as a prey animal they feel trapped when humans want to hold them), but he is a sweet boy.  He just needs the right human to give him time to feel comfortable in a new situation.  He does need his own space to be quiet in and to feel safe.  If you are that special person who can give Cinnamon the perfect home, please contact the Missouri House Rabbit Society in Kansas City. www.mohrs.org
