Kylie's history is pretty sad. She came into the rescue about 3 years ago surrendered after an elderly owner could no longer care for her.
Kylie was quickly adopted by a lovely person who the rescue knew very well, a previous adopter of a little senior Lil Paws boy. He passed and was dearly missed and the home seemed a perfect fit for Kylie and vice versa. Unfortunately in the last year that owner has faced serious unexpected health problems and now can no longer care for Kylie.

Kylie has been in a loving home, she is in excellent health but she needs a forever home. Losing your family every few years is unfortunate and we want to see Kylie safe in a forever home for the rest of her life.
Kylie is very easy to manage, she has a sweet temperament and is very well behaved. She gets along well with other dogs mostly ignores them. In her foster home she has had to share space with a couple of obnoxious puppies and an older male dog who doesn't always get along with other dogs and she does just fine.
To our knowledge, she has never been around cats, but we don't really think she would care.

The only way to find out if one of our pups will be a good fit in your home is to fill out the online application on the Lil Paws website. Lil Paws is a very small organization, our volunteer time is reserved for interested persons who have filled out the application to adopt.

We do not have a facility, all dogs are fostered in the homes of our volunteers. Lil' Paws Maltese Rescue and other Petite Paws depends on donations to keep the dogs in our program healthy.
