Anya German Shepherd Dog & Labrador Retriever Mix Cincinnati, OH

Hello, my name is Anya! I am super fun and playful, German Shepherd mix pup and I’m 3 months old. I’ve been spayed, microchipped and vaccinated and now I'm ready to find a place I can call home furever. When I got to my foster home, I was a 4 week old, 4 pound puppy and now I’m 20 pounds and almost as big as my foster brother, We have so much fun playing together. We share toys, beds and snuggles from our people. I like all kinds of toys – stuffed, rubber, rope – you name it. The toys with the squeakers are some of my favorites.

Sometimes I chew on things I’m not supposed to, but I am easily redirected once you catch me. I arrived at my foster home with one of my brothers from my litter and I’ve been living there with him, my furry foster brother and 3 human brothers and sisters and my foster mom. I love playing in the yard with my fur siblings and my people. I LOVE being outside. I am crate trained and am working on potty training. If I go in the house, I make sure to use the pee pads.

I’m learning to walk on a leash. I am an independent girl and don’t mind entertaining myself, but I love company, too. I sleep quietly in my crate all night. Iget along well with dogs and kids 12+. I’ve never been around cats or younger kids, but I imagine they would be a whole lot of fun. I have a good amount of energy - I play hard and then I rest hard, too. When I’m outside, I love playing in water. I am very agile, so if you’d like to sign me up for some agility courses when I get older, I imagine I’d be a star student.

All HART dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on all vaccines, including bordatella and rabies. They are heartworm tested and on preventative for heartworm, fleas, and ticks.
