Meet Jett
Hi, my name is Jett! I'm a 4 year old Blue Tick Coonhound that came into the shelter as a stray. I'm a pretty handsome and friendly guy! I do like to follow my nose as most hounds do and will need to be kept safely in the yard when I'm spending time outside. I will probably be fine with most dogs but cats are a little iffy for me. I am on medication because I have cluster seizures. I love all people and will thoroughly enjoy family life. While I want to be a much loved member in your home, it's possible that I've never spent time in a house before so be prepared to train me on what it's like to live indoors. Apply for me today!
Staff notes on Jett: Jett is a super sweet, shy, goofy guy, easy trainable loves his food and attention. He does pull on leash, training will help that. Give him treats and he’d be your best friend.
My adoption fee is $60.00. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Erlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.
CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP. Our license is #268235-DS
