Molly (PP) Shar-Pei Mix Willington, CT

Hi there, Shar Pei lovers! My name is Molly and I am waiting for a happy forever home. You see, my former family dropped me off in a strange place all alone one day. I don’t know what I did wrong cuz’ I tried to be a good girl. I was scared, hungry and looking for a warm place to sleep when a lady found me and took me in. She was nice to me and I thought I had landed in my new home but, unfortunately, when her husband arrived, he made it clear that I couldn’t stay...I mean he REALLY clear. I heard him say that he would shoot me if he found me there the next day – YIKES! Anyway, that nice lady did not let me get shot, or throw me out. She contacted this rescue and they came to get me right away. Since then, I have been receiving lots of TLC in my kind foster home.

What would you like to know about me? I am between 5 and 6 years old years old and weigh about 45 – 50 pounds. No one knows just what other breeds I’m mixed with, but my foster mom tells me that doesn’t matter. She says my brindle coat is beautiful and I’m a sweet affectionate girl who deserves a great home of my very own. I do love everyone I meet. I’m house trained and walk well on a leash. I enjoy being active so it would be great to be part of a family that will take me on walks and hikes. Kids that are 10 or older would probably be best as I might be a bit excitable for the younger set. If I could be your only pet and get all the attention, that would be perfect, but another dog would be okay with me as long as it’s an easy going one...I don’t much care for those pushy alpha types. I have seen the cats who live here at my foster home, but I have never been alone with them.

I am spayed, up to date on vaccinations, micro-chipped and on monthly flea/tick and heart worm preventative. My doggie bags are packed and I’m ready to go to my loving home where I can hang my leash forever.
