Meet Billy the kid, a beautiful two-year-old long-haired Chihuahua. Billy was brought to our local animal control after his owner had passed away. He was devastated, it had been just him and his previous owner, he knew no different. Now he was in a shelter, he knew no one, and it was loud. He went into a very aggressive mode (he was scared to death). Animalcontrol immediately turned him over to Noah’s Hope so he could get into a foster home. It took him over a week to gain trust with his foster family. But he has finally settled in and is a normal typical Chihuahua.
This is what we have discovered about Billy...
1. When the phone rings he gets excited. We think he let his previous owner know the phone was ringing.
2. He likes short walks Billy is not much into the great outdoors.
3. Patience and love(treats) brought him around to be a sweet, loving, adorable dog.
4. Good with car rides. Sit him in the backseat.
5. The vacuum makes them nervous and he will hide when it is on.
6. Billy must be in a fenced in area or a light tether or he will be gone
7. Billy gets nervous around a lot of commotion so small kids are not recommended.
8. Must have a fenced in yard or be put out on a light tether otherwise he will be gone.
