Patience, big heart, gentle, soft voice, caring - these are some of the qualities that I’m looking for in my forever people. I didn’t have a very good start to life and I’m struggling to let go of that past. I’m still not convinced that people are going to be nice to me or that a reaching hand is going to be a positive experience. However, I have recently started to enjoy being pet and wag my tail for meal time or when hot dogs are involved. My fosters have seen my confidence grow a little everyday!

One thing that I am very confident in is that my canine friends will always be there to comfort me as I grow into my new role as a loved member of the family. With that being said, I will require a confident, mild-mannered canine companion that is similar to my size in my forever home. I don’t really have a concept of personal space with my canine buddies so I’m looking for friends who don’t mind close snuggles or having a sidekick with everything they do. I get along fine with cats but no kids for me please. They are just too busy.

I’m working hard at adjusting to the routine in my foster home and they say I’m doing a great job with potty training. I’m also working on crate training and figuring out how this whole leash walking thing works. I enjoy spending time outside exploring my new fenced in backyard with my canine buddies and snuggling with them on the couch for a good nap. Wherever they are, you’ll find me too!
