Mae Mixed Breed Madison, WI

Meet Mae! Mae is about 7-years-old and 65-pounds. Mae's owner died and her family refused to provide food or water for her. Luckily a kind person stepped in and got her to foster & rescue! She is friendly with other dogs and ignores the outdoor cats. She is "mellow and laid back" and walks well on a leash.
Now in her WI foster home, Mae is a sweet, gentle lady looking for a home that loves cuddling and giving belly rubs. She has never met a person she doesn't like (since all humans can give her belly rubs), and also does well with other dogs. Even though she is a bit older, she still has some Lab spunk - especially when it comes to chasing squirrels. She enjoys going for walks, chewing on raw hides, and LOVES snuggling on the couch. She is housetrained and crate trained, and can also be left out alone. She does some involuntary urinary incontinence but that is managed with a daily medication & works great! (Cost of med is about $15/month.) Mae knows to sit for treats, but can use some work on simple commands in other situations. She walks well on leash and loves meeting new friends on walks. All Mae really wants is someone to give her the same amount of love she gives them - a ton!

Dogs from Underdog Pet Rescue come with the following medical care already provided:
Spay/Neuter
Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella Vaccinations (as age appropriate-puppy adopters may need to cover some vaccine boosters OR they have the option of bringing the pet to Underdog for complimentary completion of these vaccines)
Heartworm Test (for dogs over 6mo)
Microchip
Deworming
Heartworm and Flea/Tick Preventative
Any other necessary medical treatment as recommended by veterinarian

Our adult dog adoption fee is $275. Our puppy (under 5 mo) is $350. Our senior dog (over 8 yrs) is $250.
