5 month blazed white mosaic male chinchilla Chinchilla Chinchilla Wolcott, IN

We have a blazed white mosaic male chinchilla that is looking for his new home. This little guy came to NWI a bit ago, and is now ready for his forever home! We have down that he was born 3/11/19, so he’s now about 5 months old and this is a perfect time for you to bring him home!

This boy’s color is called mosaic, which is basically a white chinchilla with greyish markings. As you can see from his pictures, he’s basically a white chinchilla with some dark shading on the base of his tail and on his face. He’s got a white stripe (blaze) up the center of the darkness on his face, so he’s a blazed mosaic male.

This boy is very curious and wants to check everything out. He will come right to the front of the cage and he’s very outgoing. He is a bit on the energetic side, so he’ll do best in a home that wants to interact and give him things to do! He can definitely be held and petted, but that’s just not his goal in life, he wants to run around and do things and have fun! When he’s old enough (6 months+) he would probably really enjoy playtime. He doesn’t bite.

This chinchilla is currently caged by himself and we don’t know how he does with other chinchillas. If you are curious as to whether he might get along with your, or one of our, chinchillas, let us know and we’ll see what we can do.

This chinchilla would make a great “first chinchilla” for someone who’s never had chinchillas before, provided they understand that he is more on the active side and will benefit more from a home that plans to interact with him.

This chinchilla will come with some food to start you out (2 pounds of Tradition pellets), a goodie bags of chews/treats, and a printed out version of our care packet. He will also come with a lifetime of help and support, should you ever need it. If more supplies are needed, we also sell a variety of chinchilla supplies, from cages to hidey houses to hammocks and everything in between.

Regardless of past chinchilla experience, all potential homes will be asked to read our chinchilla care packet and fill out our adoption application/chinchilla questionnaire. If you are unwilling to do this, please do not waste our time or yours. No chinchilla will go to a new home without an adoption application being filled out - no exceptions.
