Portia has a very unique coat with 2 different types of patterns, gorgeous spots on the front half and more diluted striped/ticked pattern on the back half. She was found as a stray in a neighborhood yard and was born in March 2019. She loves to play and her favorite toy is a mouse that she can carry around in her mouth. Her other favorite activity is eating some yummy wet food. She can be a bit shy at first in new places, but doesn't take her too long to warm up to you once she realizes you are a nice person. She and her fellow foster friends love to play, chase and wrestle together, nap together, and purr!

Second Chance Pets is a foster-based organization so all animals live in foster homes throughout the area. Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Petco Clear Lake store located at 2410 Bay Area Boulevard (at Space Center.) The minimum donation for a cat is $100 (or $160 for 2 cats). All cats are tested for FIV and Leukemia, fully vaccinated, fixed, dewormed, defleaed, and microchipped.
