Brutus Chocolate Labrador Retriever Corvallis, OR

I know what you're thinking – what a handsome dog! Thanks! My name is Brutus (perhaps you already read about my "brother" Max the boxer mix). I am an 11-year-old "registered" chocolate lab. (Fancy, I know.)

I am looking for my "furever" home, too. (Maybe you would like to adopt both Max and me?) I don't quite have the energy that Max does. In fact, one of my favorite "activities" is lounging. They tell me I am a little overweight (?) so I probably would benefit from a daily walk. I might be "lazy," but I do like swimming and wrestling (with Max), and exploring my yard. I am also good with other dogs, cats and kids of all ages.

My previous owner says I am a "great dog", but that I can be a little stubborn. He also said that I either have a hearing problem or maybe "selective" hearing. I don't know about that, but I do have some issues with my ears as they need cleaning every so often.

Note: Brutus and Max have been living together a lot of years and would probably enjoy continuing to do so, but they do have a very different energy levels. We are listing them separately, but if you want to adopt both of these boys just let us know on your application.
