Meet Roxie
Roxie is a nine-year old girl who is sweet as can be. We think she is part dachshund / corgi? / beagle?
She will greet you with pure joy, wagging her tail and giving you kisses if you bend over for her. She is very friendly with new people and does not bark very much. She loves to go for walks and is good on the leash, but will pull a little if she gets a scent. She is very obedient, knows her name, and can obey a couple simple commands. Roxie is not much of a snuggler, but she wants to be around people and lay down in her bed or at your feet and keep you company. She’s not particularly energetic, but she loves playing with our two girls. She would do best with kids over 8 because she does not like it when kids get in her face. We haven’t seen her with other dogs, but overall her disposition is very friendly. She spent most of her life with an elderly woman who had to give her up after she got injured. She’s 22 inches long and 10 inches high at her shoulder.
