Meet Elvira
Elvira is very smart and high energy, and she loves to play... with intermittent attention and cuddling with her people, of course. It can take her a bit of time to bond as she can be a bit shy, but she's actually quite sweet with people.
She would do well in a home with older children and active, dog-savvy owners who can train her to manage her energy and drive. Without outlets for her energy and intelligence, she's been known to let her curiosity take over... taking her right up over the fence, to be exact! She has done well with some other dogs depending on their personality – if you have other dogs in the home, we'd be happy to talk with you about setting up a meet and greet! She's such a sweet, happy dog with so many great qualities – we're just waiting for the right person to come along and fall in love just like we have.
