Chunky Monkey and Blueberry Daydream are sisters and best friends looking for their forever home together. They are a closely bonded pair.

Chunky Monkey is a sweet and shy ~2-year-old rescue kitty from the side alleys and back yards of West New York. She is spayed, vaccinated, and was fostered together with her littermate and sister Blueberry Daydream, and an older sister from the same mother, Phloophy (full name Phloophiest du la Monde), along with our two other cats sharing their home with these sisters in need.

Chunky was so shy at first, she lived in her crate for weeks and hissed when we even opened the door to the room. Eventually, she figured out we didn't want to eat her, and were only there to give her food and love. She would accept petting only in her bed (a box with a blanket inside) and roll around in excitement.

Today Chunky Monkey she is sweet, gentle house cat, still very shy and reserved until she gets to know her new friends through play, treats, and petting and brushing time. Chunky is extremely energetic and playful, a true athlete who loves to jump and hunt. She loves doing aerial leaps for ribbon toys and treats, but will also sometimes take treats straight from your fingertips with great care. She also loves petting, especially on the forehead and cheeks, but will also hunker down in sphinx pose for a head-to-toe massage.
