This is a sweet natured canine whose smiles say it all: respect, thankfulness, kindness and an all-out joy filled existence. When 1-year-old Desi and his sister, Lucille, arrived at the Humane Society, they were in pretty tough shape. Two weeks of delectable healthy nutrition and the caring, loving compassion of HS volunteers reignited the spark of optimism as Desi and his sister began to hold their heads high as they once again walked with confidence and pride. Watching their recovery and their peaceful acceptance of their journey filled all the HS volunteers with gratitude and wonder. The courage that our canine friends reveal is a true gift that is intended for every human. Desi has a high-energy motor complimented with a laid-back, easy-going attitude toward life which both he and his "alike-as-peas-in-a-pod" sister share. Desi is a bark park friend to every canine he has ever met. Both Desi and Lucille are up for adoption at the Humane Society for Animals in Rogers, AR.
