Meet Vanna
Harriers were bred in England to hunt-you guessed it-hares! This breed is often mistaken for a beagle due to the ears. They are alert and are great family pets. With Vanna you get the best of both worlds. She appears to also have some setter in her with that beautiful ticking and "feathers" on her legs. She was turned into a high kill shelter in Alabama along with her babies. She was going to rescue in North Carolina when the hurricane hit. The group cancelled the trip right before they left Alabama. Since the shelter was full she and her babies were among all those scheduled for euthanasia. The shelter reached out to NGL and we were glad to take in this sweet family!
