Malibu Boston Terrier & Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler Mix Winston-Salem, NC

Hey Everyone! I'm Malibu! And boy do I have a story to tell. In my past life, I didn't have the best people. I spent the first part of my life stuck on a chain in a backyard without anywhere to get out of the sun. When the people came to feed me one day and they saw that I was hurting, they took me to a shelter to be put down. But the nice people there found me a foster mom instead. Since I came to Stepping Stones, life has been pretty sweet! I get to stay inside in something called "air conditioning" and there are little soft fluffy cloud beds in every room that I love to roll around on!

My foster mom says my back is healing up really well, but we don't know if all of my hair will grow back. Mom says that's ok, because I'm beautiful anyway and scars give us character. She says I'm a really good size at 30 lbs. And since I'm 10 months old, I probably won't grow much more. They don't know exactly what kind of dog I am. At first mom thought I was an itty bitty pocket pitty, but the paperwork says I'm a Boston Terrier/Blue Heeler mix. If you look up pictures of those breeds, I sure do look a LOT like both of them!

Foster mom taught me how to stay in a crate during the day, and I've even learned how to "sit"! I've almost got the hang of housetraining. I just need someone a little bit patient to keep teaching me. Oh, and I LOVE to run and play! I've got a bunch of foster siblings of all sizes, and I really love hanging out and playing with all of them (except the old grumpy one who just wants to sleep). Foster mom says I will be a great addition to someone's home! I even got spayed and got my shots already!

Due to this, I can only go to a hom within a 60 mile radius. In some cases, the nice people at Stepping Stones may extend this radius. But, they do not ship dogs.
