Margherita is a 7 year old female chihuahua that has spent the first years of her life in a puppy mill. She is learning that humans can be kind and good. Margherita enjoys other low energy dogs her size and also gets along well with the cat in her foster home. She loves dinner time and enjoys treats! She is still learning to go potty outside and walk on a leash, and needs a fenced yard to allow her to continue with this training and explore her world in safety. Margherita is a nervous girl who startles at sudden movements. Her ideal family would be a home with calm, patient humans who are willing to allow her to progress toward confidence at her own pace. With time and lots of love and patience, she will blossom into the happy, self-assured little girl she was meant to be. Margherita is spayed, current on vaccinations and microchipped.
