Meet Karma

Karma is a 2 year old Lab/Wirehaired pointing griffon mix who came to us because she needed a loving forever home. She was living outside in a pen during the day and in a garage at night. Karma is a very sweet girl who deserves a happy ending. She lives with other dogs in her foster home and has always been with at least one other dog. She loves to play with other dogs and she likes toys too - her favorite is a tennis ball, but she will destroy them if she has them to chew on for too long :) She's doing well on housetraining, but all dogs will need a refresher when moving to a new home and routine. She eats her food quickly so would do best having a slow feeder bowl. Karma is pretty well behaved, although she could always benefit from some additional obedience and leash training. Karma does know how to sit and she would love to learn more. Karma is a medium energy dog, and would love a family who will take her for walks and get her some play time to keep her happy.
Karma is spayed, current on all vaccinations, and microchipped. Please reach out to her foster to learn more! She would make a great addition to a family - she's very sweet!

Adoption fee is $325 (no checks)

Karma will be at the Woodbury Petsmart on Saturday from 11-2 looking for a home!

Foster to contact: Katie 605-695-5126 (text preferred) or krkallemeyn@hotmail.com.

Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home. Sometimes there is more that comes out about a dog's personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
