Meet Joey

Joey is a wonderful young dog rescued from a high kill shelter just in the nick of time. He gets along well with other dogs and is generally well behaved. Joey can be shy meeting new people and can be a little barky initially. He does warm up to new people quickly if given the chance. Joey bonds more easily with women than men, and is fine with kids. Joey is healthy, intelligent and eager to please. He loves to play, but isn't hyper. Joey is a great cuddler, but isn't clingy. He would do best in a home where someone works from home or is retired. Joey doesn't have any destructive habits like digging or chewing. He's pee pad trained, walks nicely on a leash and rides well in the car. Joey is only 1 1/2 yrs old, weighs about 21 lbs and is neutered, fully vaccinated and chipped. Joey would make a great family dog if you'd be willing to give him the time and patience to feel secure.
